Dear international Tigers,
We hope that your fall semester is going well. International Student Services (ISS) sent an email at the end of August introducing the new iTiger Portal for all F-1 and J-1 students. For more details and previous communications about iTiger, please review our iTiger Knowledge Base pages.
F-1 and J-1 students are required by U.S. Immigration regulations to provide certain documents/information to ISS for accurate record-keeping. New students who began their studies at LSU in August 2025 have already provided the following information and are not required to submit the forms, unless something has changed.
Students who began studying at LSU before Fall 2025 must complete the following steps if they have not already done so.
- Click this link to Upload Immigration Documents to provide copies of your current immigration documents to ISS.
- Navigate to F-1/J-1 Student Services to complete and submit the Address Reporting Form to report your address to ISS and your SEVIS record. U.S Immigration regulations require that students report the current address where they live within 10 calendar days of any move. This form will verify that we have your correct address in your SEVIS record.
Students who have already completed both steps were notified via email when those materials were received. You may disregard this email unless you need to update your information.
The deadline to submit both forms is Friday, October 17, 2025. Requests for travel signatures, CPT authorization, program extensions, financial updates, adding/removing dependents, and other ISS-related submissions will not be processed unless you have completed the above forms.
