When students interact with a request in the iTiger Portal, they will see a status for that request. Use the table below to learn about the various request statuses.

| In progress |
Student has started request but has not submitted yet. |
| Pending office approval |
Request is with ISS staff and under review. |
| Routed to third party |
Request has been sent to a department recommender. |
| Draft/incomplete |
ISS returned the request to the student who needs to resubmit it. |
| Canceled |
Student clicked "cancel." |
| Approved |
ISS has completed the request. |
| Denied |
ISS denied/didn't process the request. |
