International Student Services advisors provide U.S. Immigration guidance and advising to LSU's international student community. The members of this unit are Designated School Officials (DSOs) who can assist with visa questions, work authorization, I-20 updates, and student health insurance. Our staff is here for you and ready to discuss any aspect of your transition to the U.S.

There will be two ways to meet with an advisor/DSO.
Walk-in Hours (in-person at 101 Hatcher Hall)
Any student can meet with an advisor/DSO during walk-in hours Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday 2pm-4pm.
Appointments (in-person at 101 Hatcher Hall or virtual)
Students and those on OPT or STEM extension may also make an appointment with their college's ISS advisor/DSO.
